1:05:55 I think Max would’ve tried to repast Charles early on just to lead 1000 laps in the season, certainly GP was on it and they extended the first stint to make sure it would happen.

To me Max is a driver who is making a new generation of history, I saw it the minute he arrived on the F1 scene. He will be an all time great if not the all time great… and I don’t say that lightly, I know he is not liked much by the English fans because he has interrupted Lewis run, but personally I have never understood what is significant about Lewis. Trophies and records don’t make you a great driver…. Especially today…

Great, usually is. Very respectful, not to disrespect but I actually believe you might actually give Lewis a tiny bit too much props at times? Honestly do not believe he is that much in control over his career, to Merc was a mater move but I fear that was him being talked into that and we all know he's been very lucky to always be in a competitive car, part from last couple of years. Had Lewis never made that move, Brawn, Lauda and co never even tried to reach out to him he could be a 1 time champ now. But sure it's part of it too, would still be a great driver, just saying. What Schumi did was a proper test of self, honestly do not believe Lewis would have done that move to rebuild a team, nor any other of the drivers today but that's just me. Senna himself search the most competitive car so not to say that is wrong, luck do play it's part for sure, some great drivers see no titles.

Dats life but, the self belief, the self determination to leave more championships in the bag with Benneton to go n start from scratch wit Ferrari, the near misses before '00.....i truelly (mayb biasedly) believe u will never again have the complete package of generational driver,team builder, team leader, attraction for others to join as Schumacher was, he is the only driver who can honestly say he rebuilt a team, its his drives in'96 ferrari crap box that endeared him to tifosi eternally before all the success, Mayb nowadsys its to corporate n drivers r the final piece....

Mr. Windsor it is my limited opinion that the RB19 could be taken to the sharp end by any one of at least three other drivers. The same for the past dominate cars. It's too bad the Engineers can't get the same recognition as the drivers, they do most of the work.

Peter finally confirmed that, despite an incredibly impressive memory and knowledge of F1 he has zero clue the time and expense involved to create topographical features, especially in a flat desert. He seems to think recreating the peaks and valleys that make tracks unique is as easy as laying tarmac.

Peter you talk about costcap being nonsense, and you say that there are other ways to deal with costs, yet you do not specify anything at all. what has happened now we went from the engine era to the downforce era. imagine everyone has the same speed engine. then it is all about suspensions, aerodynamics etc that is what makes it more exciting. which also means strategy, pitstops become much more important as well. when mercedes had the clear faster engine, nothing you can do will change that when you are not a car manufacture. look at redbull their renault engine went nowhere. how can they fix that? if you are not a car manufacture it is not that easy, because you have a contract for a couple of years. however with suspension, aerodynamics etc. everyone has fair play to that. it is not as expensive as to just create a new engine. so that means it is much more fair play. also it is now much more on the driver when their is no engine advancement. is basically the same for everyone.

It’s impossible to ever forget Senna because every driver that enters F1 wants to emulate HIM more than ANYONE ELSE! In terms of natural ability and raw talent post the Schumi era that ended in 2006, Kimi, Alonso, Lewis and Max are the best drivers we’ve seen since. Kimi’s peak years from 2002-2008 was insane but after winning his WDC in 2007 he lacked the commitment and dedication that Alonso and Lewis always possessed throughout their careers.
