Tough to say if the The knocker on the Timemore is 'better' it might not be as good as a magnetic removable chute for a through inspection and cleaning, but the timemore one seems to work pretty well and might be slightly less finicky (no removing parts, just rotating a dial) although I think the DF64v would be overall better than TimeMore Skulptor 064s based on what we've seen so far. I think the real competition is between Timemore Sculptor 078s vs DF64v vs DF83! Which are currently around the same budget. Could include P64 as well since specs are similar, but not so similar in price.

I don't think the burrs actually look that similar to the SSP HU, however, I have had similar (or the same) but differently coated burrs that look like those for the DF64v, and from my memory I think it has a similar taste profile to the SSP HU, I never did a direct side by side comparison but I thought it was nice and balanced, good body, sweetness and decent clarity so felt like a good all round versatile burr set, I think it worked well for coarser brewing as well. I may actually like it more than I liked the SSP HU. My friend also mentioned the same thing that they're pretty close to the SSP HU.

Hoon I would like to see after seasoning if you take a light to medium with a fruity taste note on low rpm vs high rpm if you get a sweeter note?

17.5g out of 18g isn't too bad for the first grind in a clean grinder where it's likely got coffee settling in the crevices.

My only bummer for this is the shape of the chute. It has nothing to do with the overall shape of the grinder!

they knocked off the design from Lagom but couldn't fix the static. this looks like it is going to clog like hell.

There’s almost no static. I have one already. Doesn’t clog at all. Great design.
