Hi everybody, music in the desert, cool (I think). Arrived late as you see but fun to watch, on an admin day here in lovely Western MA. Was - 6 F here for a couple of days in the early hours. Up to 30 today and feels quite warm!! Big sky there, nice cloud patterns today. Reception just fine at 12 min in so far as I watch/listen in my office. Nice to see the personal side of the musicians we have enjoyed so much. I have watched a lot of St Andreu Jazz Band Barcelona for years, Joan Chamorro channel KZbin. A great youth band and I got to be familiar with the kids, guests and Joan the Director. Great music and fun watching the kids grow into young adults and great musicians. She's a NOVA natural on the drums. If these kids don't become musicians I'll eat my hat (maybe...depends how the first bite tastes). Oh you are from Barcelona Laura. Que be' que hagis vingut als Estats Units!! Ens encanta la immigracio' de bona gent. Having fun with the languages, Google translate and learning a little I go. Viejo divirtie'ndose. Mike; This reminded me of a gig I did in the early 1980's. It was in the desert outside of Palm Springs, and I actually set up on the desert floor (not even a rug!). Needless to say, everything was absolutely filthy when we were done, but hey, it was $100!
