Joe does a fantastic job with these interviews. He asks a question and lets the artist answer without constant interuption. We know he is a great musician. He is also a great host. Stay safe everyone.

Ana is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. I am always so honored when she remembers my wife and I at her shows. The first time I saw her live was at a small club in Westerly, RI called the Knickerbocker Café. I was SO blown away.

I was working with a band somewhere in Europe. There was a venue that had 2 different rooms. I heard this awesome band playing in the other room so I went over there to check them out. It was Ana and her band sound checking. I was blown away!!!

Thank you Mr Bonamassa for producing this series; I've seen them all and each has been a revelation and a new thread to pursue further, which is certainly a welcome lift in these strange times for performers everywhere.

Surviving ‘90s in the Ex Yu was difficult, often wrenching, but surely motivational. One can recognize that drive which Ana describes and embodies. Great interview. And yes, let me be the one who straightens this - not the Baltic JoBo; the Balkans! Non-trivial difference, but jam on.

Joe--Ms. Popovich is formally trained. My nephew was an "on-campus" student at Berklee in guitar. He graduated with high honors; primarily jazz. My 10 years younger brother made a fine living as a "bluesman" out of Cleveland. He composed, arranged, played bass, guitar and brass. He is retired now but has a good studio in his home and still plays and produces. I gave each of them their first fine guitars. I struggle to play, but I build and repair guitars-neither of them would ever consider that.

I had 2 VHS tapes that I played constantly and wore out : Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii and SRV Live at the El Mocambo (Toronto !) I'm not a musician but I spent hours absorbing every nuance of the performances. Still my favourite version of Texas Flood on that El Mocambo show !

@@zacharyhandcraftedguitars I believe about 5 yrs ago? I may be assuming that she played Windsor, too. That was our standard practice, booking an artist for two shows, one in London one in Windsor. London/Windsor ran their annual blues fests on the same July weekend to facilitate booking larger acts than the region may otherwise warrant by offering two festival gigs in one weekend less than 200 km away! I know she and Joe have both played our two festivals and Anna has done club dates in London. Peace - and keep them blues alive, bro!

Oh my gosh, I wish I could jam with these two. They mentioned listening to VHS tapes, her SRV, then Benson and he Spyro Gyra. That's where I come from musically, having met and gotten direction from Mr. Catallo and Vaughan so many years ago. It's cool to see these two young heavy hitters talking about them and sharing. Wow.

Saw Ana in 2015 opening for the Jonny Lang, Kenny Wayne Shepherd tour at the Star Plaza in NW Indiana and she slayed it! Only to find out soon after that her gear was stolen later overnight at a hotel in the south suburbs of Chicago. So Sad! Wonder if it was ever found.
