"Live" from the Flight Line E-flite Viper 70mm VS 90mm | Nall In The Fall 2021

Wow, that looked fun! So fun I broke out my brand new E-Flite 64mm F-16 EDF jet. I've had it in box, until I got some stick time behind my prop planes. You got my jet juices flowing. Put it all together, and plugged my battery in, and receiver gave 5 tones, and than a slow blinking orange light, sort of what I experienced with my UMX Turbo Timber, if I powered it lip before turning on radio. But this receiver comes stock from factory with an extension harness with a bind plug installed. Long story short, I can't fly my plane, because Jason at Horizon Hobby told me since I use a Radiomaster TX16S, that they can't guaranty that it will bind with their AR636B receiver. No help, no advice, no cahones to tell me my receiver was bricked for the factory! Horizon Hobby at their finest. Great Airplanes and cars! Customer service, not so much:-(

Mr. Ali , I have a question. I'm getting a FMS 15th anniversary Viper 70mm and it comes with motor reverse. But, my question is, can I use a AR631 and still be able to active motor reverse and do I plug in the reverse motor wire into the bind port ?? Thanks

You need to update the 70mm Viper to V2 with a smart esc with reverse thrust! Maybe update the landing gear too. The original 70mm Viper was my first and favorite edf until I got the 90mm.

If I was making the move to EDF, would you suggest going 70 first or straight to the 90?

@@Lawzy If the extra expense isn't a problem, I would go straight to the 90mm. Being larger, it is much easier to see and not any harder to fly than the 70mm.

@@Lawzy Me too, but I went with the super sportier 70mm w/6S 4200mah 100C, and upgraded easy peezy gear from RC Castle top-design cnc suspension strut & wheel set for fms/e-flite viper 70mm edf jet. Flys incredible in a hyperbolic way.

I have a DX8 and a new 637T… I also have a Habu 50mm where I have throttle reverse setup. Can throttle reverse be setup with my DX8 and the 637T rx for my Viper 70mm PNP? If so, do you have instructions or a setup video to accomplish this? Thanks

The only reason I didn't get the Viper 70mm as my first EDF is the colors. It got a to good camouflage.
