Ranging from standard and microfocus sealed tubes to high intensity rotating anodes, X-ray source technology has evolved substantially from the classic Roentgen tube. In this episode we discuss a variety of source types and the applications where each technology excels.

In grazing incidence XRD beam shadow becomes large. What to do to decrease spot size

Hi Zinki - thanks for your question. To decrease spot size, use smaller collimators to reduce the size of your beam.
