Catherine, David and Matt were live at the end of men's semi-finals day to react to Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic setting up a repeat of last year's final with wins over Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Musetti.

Katherine that’s a horrible idea - the 5 set limit defines the game of champion tennis. Yellow card on the pod :))

Nerves...? Great Lord, Carlos is in his early twenties, fighting against some giant players...!

I was watching from the stands today; I thought Carlos's better play was higher level than Novak's. Either way, tomorrow and Sunday should be great finals.

I agree. Novak didn’t miss … but Alcaraz went out for the ball

Highlight of Wimbledon this year was Marcus Willis, these folks don't seem to have grasped this!

Is it rude to say that I can’t wait to watch Rafa on clay in Sweden??? Just wondering if Tennis Channel will show any of Rafa & Casper playing doubles-that would be great! So ready for Bastad, then the Olympics. But, yeah, go Jasmine first! 🎾🇮🇹

Let's project the future results of a 22 year-old (Musetti) based on personality traits that may or may not exist and without at least talking to him, shall we? Failing that, lets jiudge him by how he holds his racquet. The "what does it mean?" conversations often go down this type of road, which is disappointing from a group that often concerns itself about the tone of social media. Aspects of Musetti's game could have been addressed, instead he was basically gossiped about.

Need 5 sets at majors to really see the better player also who wants to go to match that could last 40 minutes like some women’s matches

I don’t think the match was boring, Medvedev played the best Tennis today and Carlos played his best in this Tournament today though it isn’t his best yet but he beat Medvedev in the way I predicted. I think I found the Show is more boring than the tennis match.😂😂😂

Alcaraz is a bundle of nerves. He try to breathe thru it and laugh etc.. he can work with it but I hope he can handle or be rid of these nerves.

Boring? Are you serious? Usually love hearing you but this is unserious… and you constantly say that this is the best that Meddy has to offer while stating that Alcatraz has more gears. Have you not watched the last 2023 us open semi final?
@westonmeyer311024 күн бұрын
Alcaraz didn’t play well in that match or even close to well. Alcaraz has improved his consistency since then and his serve is a lot better.

It’s hard court vs clay, on hard court Medvedev is almost as good as anyone, not on grass or clay

Medveded has lost with C.A in IW two years in a row..I dont think is about the surface, Dannil is great but simply not as great as the current big 3..is funny to see how demanding are in the Show with Alcaraz,but that explains how huge is his level compared with others. Anyway,playing beautifully all the time, as Only Federer did (most of the times) requires maturity,experience and patience..he is 21 come on, asking him for perfection is tempting but probably very absurd at the same time, I guess
@nathanherzka935519 күн бұрын
@@pabloalonso6172 that’s true, but he CAN beat Alcaraz or anyone for that matter on Hard court, he just didn’t. He doesn’t have that capability on grass or even clay courts and that’s a BIG difference

I really dont understand the love for medvedev, he has a real history of these semi abusive moments. Nothing on the Zverev level of course, but it really puts me off
@Tuzzz9423 күн бұрын
Listen to his interviews, see some videos of him off-court, look at moments where he's maybe provocative on the court but not over the top. These are ways in which you can come to appreciate him

I think they are smart and sharp on tennis comments, but the guys have some weird gravitation around Catherine that sometimes makes them less sharp of what they really are,especially Matt i feel
