I've known his playing thru KZbin but THIS YEAR he came to Portland and played one of the BEST concerts I've EVER heard which included his OWN gorgeous compositions. This is one great American. His work is FRESH and his skills are TOPS. Hope I hear him again soon. This is one of the most pleasing performers EVER. I hope he knows how good he is.

What a beautiful show! A shame it's not getting too many hits and comments. George Cables is a jazz icon and the group is terrific. People don't know what they're mssing!

That's cool having the window with the cars going by. Jazz is always travelling and expanding and reaching new ears, and improvisation is the present... and most pro musicians are intensely connected to the road. What a great band!

Really nice music, and so good to see one of my favorite drummers still in good shape! I remember Victor beeing a member of Stan Getz group as well as in Woody Shaws band. I had the fortune to see and hear them live in Stockholm once. Concerts I ´ll never forget! Lars Karlsson, Stockholm Sweden
