Credit this coaching staff for not trying to change Terri’s catching style/tracking. I could see a coach wanting him to start catching with his hands at the high point but that’s not his super power so credit the coaching staff. Terri is THE BEST ball tracking WR in the league, hands down. Which allows him to box out DB’s as a smaller receiver. It works for him.

It would be awesome for DQ to win COY, but I think it goes to Dan Campbell. To win 14+ games with 19 players on season-ending IR is going to be hard to beat. However, DQ has done a phenomenal job at "recalibrating" this team a lot faster than any of us expected.

Dan Quinn mentioned us being able to still get a home playoff game if we get the 6th seed. Can someone explain to me the scenario in which that happens? I know it’s gonna obviously have to be after the wildcard round

Basically if we get the 6th seed, we’ll play the 3rd. And if the packers then play the eagles and win, we’d host the packers. It’s because 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th seeds are on one side of the bracket, while 1st, 4th, 5th seeds are on the other side.

Give the guy a sec, he just got here not too long ago coming from a franchise that was trending in the wrong direction. Of course only time will tell, but I think it’d be hard to be in that locker room with that infectious energy going on and not catch the bug. Hell, I was almost ready to say the same about Terry with how dejected he was after the whole Eric bieniemy saga season and look what’s happening now. Terry wasn’t the same player after EB cuz he 100% bought into what EB was selling and then it all blew back in their face and I didn’t know if terry would be able to come back from that after all the other BS he’s dealt with in his time here. Then JD5 entered the building and we never looked back.
