My 2 cents - If I'm Kliff, I'm not going anywhere. I'd have the opportunity to go into the draft and free agency knowing I have a GUY at QB and I can upgrade with basically unlimited cap space and draft picks. I'm staying at least one more year for the opportunity to go into year 2 with crazy upgrades to an already great offense.

Ultimately it seems more beneficial for Kliff to stay. The pros of staying simply outweigh leaving for another situation. This is his first time working under a HC in the NFL and I'm sure he won't be able to learn as much as he can after one successful season. Next season is an entirely different challenge - a tougher schedule, teams have had an offseason to adapt to his offense, plus he might have additional weapons. That will be a much better indicator of where he is as a coordinator and possible HC. After a second season I think his stock will possibly reach its peak as well (obviously dependent on the level of success).

When Kliff has been on, calling a balanced attack, the offense has hummed nicely, it's been GREAT. But he's also had several moments this season where his play calling has been questionable. The first half of this past game was quite questionable. Constantly dropping back to pass and not exhibiting a willingness to run, it makes the RPOs fail, it makes the pass plays fail (no open WRs, and Jayden having no time to operate, under a heavy pass rush). It's not a shock that we've had our best games, huge winning margins (Titans game comes to mind), Jayden's had his best pass ratings, when we've BOTH run AND passed the ball. Even if it's a 2 or 3 yard run.. it keeps the opposing defense on their toes, gets them to think an extra step too much (like the TD throw to OZ, two guys going for B-Rob, allowing Jayden to zip a pass to OZ). The 2nd half, FINALLY including CRod as well, having those RBs and employing them the 2nd half, to go along with JD's running (safe, off to sidelines and sliding, rather than getting popped), and JD's pass plays (with cleaner pocket, open WRs).. If Kliff could CONSISTENTLY run THAT type of offense, and stop with the heavy pass attack. that would be awesome. In the end, we need an OC that believes in a balanced attack EACH game, I see that in Ben Johnson (who will get an HC job), and a few select others. I definitely like Kliff, but it's irritating when he chooses not to employ weapons (like CRod, like Sinnott, like Luke, etc). And chooses to overly pass (which has led to several close call wins this season.. or losses)

Would rather kliff stay. Lance is critical piece but be deserves to get a chance at the helm of an organization. If kliff leaves he will fail again and be fired in 2 years, he’s not cut out to be a head man of a locker room and team decisions such as when to leave for a Thursday game… do they stay on the west coast if they have back to back games on the west coast or do they head back and let the guys be off for 2 days… Decisions on who to play in the playoffs wether to rest or not, truthfully kliff wouldn’t have to worry about playoff decisions he’s already got his vacation lined up and the jet waiting…

Be real Kliff you’ve been terrible at head coaching… you’re not meant to be a head coach how many times have you failed? Texas tech they were terrible. Sure you had Mahomes but he was tutored/refined in the nfl to be the player he is now… you’ve got it great right now and you potentially will leave to inevitably fail again. You are successful right now. what is it your ego or the money? You’re not a leader you want to be friends. You don’t have it in you to set standards and hold people accountable. That’s a big part of coaching. Who would you hire to fill out the coaching staff you would have to hire chumps to fill out all the coaching positions. Yea seems fine and dandy being a head coach but it’s been obvious you’re not meant to be a head coach in college or the NFL
