I wonder if the jury is as irritated as I am by Prior. He's aggressive and rude to everyone, but especially to women on the stand. I mean, he could have created some big questions with the coroner yesterday, but I was so annoyed when he kept yelling at her about "liPitity" (idiocy) that I just wanted to smack him. His whole approach of "The paintball gun" ridiculous just makes him look like a total buffoon.

John Prior, 50, will now face a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine when he is sentenced in November in the Canyon County case, according to the Idaho Statesman and KTVB. Prior was indicted by a grand jury for felony battery with intent to commit rape after being accused of attacking a 20-year-old woman who said she came to his Nampa office seeking a job and advice on a child-custody case, the Statesman reports. Before the trial concluded Friday with Prior’s plea, his lawyer, Scott Fouser, told the jury during opening statements that Prior paid the woman, who was in dire straits financially, for sex. She then lied about the incident to her boyfriend, her family and police, Fouser said. However, the woman testified before Prior took his plea that she refused when he offered her a job and help with the custody case in exchange for having sex with him, the Associated Press reported earlier. The state attorney general’s office prosecuted the case.

Prior plead not guilty in May to the original charge of battery with intent to commit a serious felony. The charge came after a 19-year-old Caldwell woman seeking employment and legal advice reported Prior attempted to sexually assault her in his building’s conference room. Prior’s attorney argued during the jury trial that the victim consented to the advances and took money from his office. The woman denied both claims.

John Prior needs to take lessons from Prosecutor Blake. She’s on top of it. She’s organized and, most importantly, she follows proper court procedures in presenting evidence, respect for the witness as well as the judge. She doesn’t talk over the witness or judge. The difference is night and day.

I wish I could find the article I read shortly after Tylee and JJ were found on Chad’s property but either Chad’s parents or his brothers wife made a statement without actually saying they know Chad is guilty but that Chad and Tammy’s kids cut off all communication with them and that they don’t know when or IF EVER they will see things for what they really are. That leads me to believe even Chad’s parents and siblings know he’s a worthless guilty pos murderer. I know it’s already day 11 but the defense hasn’t called any witnesses yet so this isn’t even 1/2 over. I’m just wondering who other than his kids would have the guts to testify on his behalf.

I’m also surprised the judge hasn’t asked him in a sidebar to quit asking the same questions and move along. He asked about the paintball gun 100 times. I think it was Alex by himself. Traveling all the way to Arizona wouldn't be in Chad's timeline bc Tammy was still alive. I think taking the seat out helped Alex lay down to get the shot and to climb in the front to speed off. I wish they had caught him then or garth had walked in on Alex and Chad smothering Tammy.

I guess the raccoon evidence that we've all been hearing about isn't so damning afterall! Love him or hate him, this Prior guy ain't no joke! He is adding more and more reason to doubt everyday! Alex and Lori were new to the area they really didn't know any better place to bury those bodies than Chads house. And access was easy if you look at pics of the property, there were no barriers that would make it difficult to enter. The tools were also nearby, whether in a shed or left out in the open. I see Chad as being blind with lust at the same time having to hide his own actions from his family. It is possible he was told the same thing, tylee was at byu and j.j. was with kay since that is where Charles wanted him to go, if something happened to him and why he gave Kay the life insurance money. I think Chad may have been in the clouds and not entirely aware of Loris activities. Lori hired that nanny then told her j.j was with his grandma and wouldn't be back for a month. She prbly told chad the same thing.
