Great to hear from the people behind this brand, I’m pretty jaded by perfume brands if I’m honest, but these are an exemplary collection, and a triumph from Antoine Lie. My favourites are Rose de Jamal, Chypre azural and Musc de sable. Great transparency and the formulas truly get the most out of the natural materials used.

Thank you for this interview! I am delighted by the mission of their shop with the blind olfactory sessions and emphasis on education and information. Their reverance for the art of perfumery is inspiring. After hearing about this house on your channel, I purchased the Les Indemodables Discovery Set. I was so impressed and knew I was in trouble since it will be quite easy to enjoy and purchase multiple full size bottles. I am wearing Oriental Velours now. I adore Vanille Havane, Fougere Emeraude and Chypre Azural.

I learnt so much from your discussion about Les Indemodables as well as your philosophy of perfumery both technically and artistically. Your detailed approach from the US extraction (It seems environmental and logical to push the boundaries of the materials to potentially new effect.) to the selective curation of the shop resonated with me. The emphasis on quality rather than quantity is somehow deeply refreshing at this time. I have had many experiences where retailers can offer little more than cursory information on fragrances. I hope that I can visit your shop one day for a blind olafactory session until then I will delight in your creations. I could not agree more about Persolaise. During this quarantine, I have attempted to learn more about niche frangraces. His channel and blog are advanced courses on the topic. I was a little disappointed that he did not play one of his interview games with you though. 😉

Thanks for the wonderful live interview! I especially liked the Brexit question, as a straight from the horse's mouth topical thing. Though none of the 10 samples from Les Indemodables made me whip out my credit card right away, I really like how each perfume seem to have accomplished the story and vision of each one and of the brand as a whole. I'll definitely be revisiting my samples over and over.

Absolutely love this brand! Tried Vanille Havane a year or so ago, but could really appreciate it only after I bought a vanilla bean! I could not believe how genius it is, as it not only smells like vanilla pod capturing all its nuances, but also smells like that from the skin and projects well enough without being a powerhouse and enough for me to enjoy it! After that I decided to go for their discovery set and it arrived the other day. I am so thrilled with the range, I can hardly stop talking about it😁 They are complex, they are interesting in terms of being unique and so well executed!! I am going to spend many many hours enjoying sampling this discovery set more!

I think you should do a collab video with Wafts From the Loft and discuss perfumes, perhaps interview one another. thanks Keith for your interest, actually after spending many years with top industry players, the idea was really to use our expertise and do what big boys are not able to do, might it be in terms of the rare ingredients we use, but also having a unique fully integrated tool where we take care of each single step of the creation & manufacturing of our perfumes: from the plant until the bottled perfume, only handling limited editions and bespoke creations. We use state of the art technologies in combination with an 'artisanal' approach and size.
