Live: Johnny Depp's defamation case against Amber Heard continues

Watch live as Johnny Depp's defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard continues today (27 April).
Mr Depp is suing Ms Heard for $50m after she wrote an opinion piece in 2018 referring to herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse.”
Ms Heard did not name Mr Depp in the article, but his lawyers have said that the article made it difficult for him to land film roles.
Ms Heard has filed a $100m counterclaim.

Domestic abuse isn't always physical and obviously there are sticks and stones issues - and it's not easy to live with an addict- however amber is perpetrating it and does all the above but with added malice and deception to exceed what he has done, physically potentially having initiated it. I think what her lawyer did well on this day was to deflect from her client's culpability by focusing on the delineation of the op Ed, and saying that noone could have known whether she was covering up bruises or not. Similarly that the op Ed was post any initiators of defamation and therefore can't be valid for the litigation- his lawyers need to prove that it was a culmination of the false allegations and was presented inaccurately in comparison to Ms heard's contributions I guess . Idk. Bless them x

I think they showed the failure of Ambers case when they pulled up all the slam pieces in tabloids. Tabloids. No recording of her screaming for help, that she could’ve recorded herself. No pictures or witnesses of cuts and bruises from abuse apart from her own. I can’t understand why Ambers lawyers even represented her when it’s a losing case. There’s no smoking gun on Johnny only on Amber. Using Johnnys childhood trauma and drug abuse is downright disgusting. Amber has shown the world she’s abusive, mentally ill and she needs help. Just so everyone will know. An online article came out today that said The Independent released an article in support of Amber Heard! They were challenged on the fact that the woman who wrote it (Charlotte Proudman) did not mention once that Amber Heard assaulted Johnny Depp. When called on it, they replied with 'we encourage our writers to give their own honest view even if it upsets people.' So not mentioning that she is an abuser is someones opinion? What this mean is that The Independent think its ok for women to abuse men. It's disgusting. I will no longer read anything of theirs. The woman who wrote it is some blonde barrister in the UK, who doesn't even have the brain to follow exactly what is happening in this case. First of all if johnny was abusing her why would she get go upset mad and try an force johnny to stay when they fight.Any abused women would love for the abuser to walk out and leave.also anytime in these recordings at certain points johnny is having conversation back you can hear him but at other times we do not hear him at all as if Amber is talking to herself seems as if Johnny walks out and she is just talking saying things to make it seem as if johnny is guilty.How is it that she records everything but has no recordings video of him do anything but cussing at her.These recordings don't prove a thing especially them coming from Amber herself these are just part of her Setting up to frame johnny.Also on the video as johnny is walking away to leave she is saying get off me get off me as he is walking away all for show all to frame him.why would she tell him to get off me get off me if he was hurting her if he abuses her then when johnny says im leaving or see ya later she is heard saying no telling him not to leave.makes no sense at all.Sure hope this jury has enough common sense to put things together and connect the dotz,Someone who is truly being abused tries to get away,they are scared and are not going to act like amber has like i said they would be happy relieved if the abuser was leaving.Only person trying to get away is johnny he was the true one being abused by amber he did not want to stay and let her abuse him.She begged him to stay because she wanted to abuse him use him as her punching bag it was not the other way around.
