It's strange as even though I would have watched this at the time, I can't personally remember the BBC having the rights to the Looney Tunes cartoons, until 2002 anyway. I do know ITV had the rights to them- in fact What's Up Doc would have been showing at the same time as this, and the Looney Tunes shorts were always part of the show. It could be due to the fact that until 1996, the rights to the pre-1948 and post-1948 cartoons were separate, and the BBC had one and ITV had the other.
