Happy 2025! This year I want to focus on stitching more from my stash and only ordering supplies. I am giving myself grace to shop for other things for my birthday and anniversary. I have enough patterns for a lifetime and want to be a more responsible shopper. Your Flosstube doesn’t make that easy for me 😂❤

I am doing a HEIFR board with generic projects like Fall, Hawk Run, Halloween or Christmas ornaments, two numbers are called each month and I am stitching on those two projects for at least five days each. My plans for 2025 is to return to cross stitching! I did it many many many years ago, but got away from it to do quilting and machine embroidery and wool applique. I found a horse cross stitch project i had started, and recently began cross stlirching again in the evenings. I forgot how much i loved to do it and now I am excited to return. I just ordered the mini village series!

I love all of your plans so far for the year! My plans include making an attempt to stitch every day (even if for only a few minutes), give 5 days to whichever project I pick up and always have a monochromatic piece going since it makes for easy car stitching. Thanks you for sharing. Love watching your videos. I just got back into cross stitching in 2024 and have been like a kid in a candy store. So 2024 was a year of building my supplies. So in 2025 I need to get busy and prioritize. I am having a little trouble prioritizing because I want to do it all and I also sew, quilt, crochet plus I have a full time job and have horses. Hi, Kimberly. It is good to see you today. My plans are not as organized as yours, but I’ve been retired for over a year now and I have done a lot of quilting. For cross stitch, I plan on doing some of the mini signs and word swaps. I like the new seed packet design from FQS. I plan to spend more time cross stitching for 2025 and getting some of my projects finished. Have a great weekend and stay warm for the next few days. Austin may not get ice and snow tomorrow, but I am expecting it here in Waco.

I am hoping for 2025 is that I keep up with my fully finishing of my projects. Right now I am in the middle of finishing multiple pieces that I did not fully finish last year. I am going to try to do more seasonal stitching and throw in some big projects that have been started last year. Happy New Year Thanks for all what you and your team does for us My planing on the stitchy side it to focus on finishes this year - I have 5 projects in a basket next to my stitchy chair - finish those (squirreling (small) is aloud after one project gets done) in the basket before pulling 5 more. These are all medium to large projects

For 2025 I plan to finish some Wips that I would like to finish this year that are doable, one or two Christmas pieces and a few others that I have started in past years. Im also doing a one red thread every day on a sampler. But I’m leaving space open as well because I see more new things coming that are enticing! Excited new subscriber and cross stitcher. For a long time now I have purchased fabric from Fat Quarter Shop for my quilting and sewing, now we can add stitching 😊 I started my first cross stitch last week and have been inspired by todays FlossTube to be intentional about a stitching plan for the year. After finishing Lori Holts Home Town Neighborhood Topiary House (my first cross stitch ever!) I will be moving on to The Spring Garden by the Historic Sampler Company then Totin’ Hare by La D Da. Planning to have all three done by end of March, fingers crossed. I’m going to get the rest of the year lined up today, I have my heart set on completing several stitches before year’s end. I didn't make any real plans last year. This year I plan to finish 5 of my Cross stitch WIPS and 5 of my quilting WIPs. One of my quilts to finish is the free Half Yard Wreath Quilt from FQS. I have had the top done since at least January of 2020. I have it all sandwiched together and have started my quilting and the bow is all together. I hope to finish it this weekend.

You have some lovely finishes from 2024. I like that you are leaving some space for new things during the year. I also like the loop method start. Do you have a vinyl window project bag tutorial? Love the keepsake box. Doing the stitch pattern on a dark fabric would be lovely. Just use a lighter thread for the word. My plans for 2024 - I am doing 2 large string, curvy looking piecings for pillow tops for my sister first off, I have a stitch planned for a bible verse I want to display plus Christmas ornaments all year to stay ahead of the crazy rush of the season, and I am making new quilts for all of my kids and grands. Reading back through this has me thinking I am nuts to think I can do it all.

This year I’m planning to try higher count evenweave fabrics. I recently discovered stitching with 1 strand over 2 threads is so much easier! And it will look even better on the higher count fabrics.

I have brought back a stitch rotation of my wips this year. I tried it 2 years ago and it worked out well for me. Four different wios per week for a month or till they are done. I'm trying not to add to my wips or kits, but so far this year,😁, I've kitted 2 new projects!

So, in years prior to 2025, I stitched lots of patriotic, Christmas, a few series (though they are my least fav and first to be nixed for 2025 and going forward), lots of minis to put in antique dough bowls (thank you, Lor Holt), non holiday charts and only a few samplers. In 2025 and it seems, many years going forward, I am commited to stitching samplers (again, thank you, Lori) as they match my home dec which is mostly antiques and true vintage. I am also commited to stitching more patriotic, Christmas and lots of HOD charts from my stash...once it is depleted, I will focus solely on samplers. I do plan to stitch 'Quilted Snowman' for 'Jolly July" and that is the only "themed monthly" I am commited to this year. LOTS of quilting, however... Happy New Year, Kimberly. Really like your display box! I am currently working on Teresa Koguts Hope for the world. A few mistakes, but I am going forward. I just finished my travel project and am setting up my next travel piece to take its place. I have stitched the witch and the scarecrow by Lori Holt. I have the snowman, but not quite ready to stitch him. I am going to try and not be so hard on myself this year, but I am not a fast stitcher. Happy new year!

This year I have to focus my time to Mira’s and Nora’s with a few ornaments and SWTH pieces thrown in. I always do patriotic in June and July is Christmas of course! Last year I stitched and finished almost 50 pieces including a large Mira mermaid and I’m exhausted! This years it’s stitch what I feel like when I feel like it❤

My 2025 plans are pretty simple- I plan to work from my stash in both cross stitch and quilting. I’m also in the process of getting finished quilt tops quilted as I do not have a long arm machine. Since December 2024 I’ve had 14 quilts long armed and I’ve put on bindings on all. I have 1 more big bag of tops to get quilted and I’ll be all caught up! I’m looking to find places to donate them. Great minds think alike. I’m opening up my plans in 2025 so that I’m not so rigid. I have about 4 or 5 bigger projects that I use a Wipgo board for. 2 projects each month for total of 10 days each month. Then the rest of the time I’m going see where the mood takes me. I’m also doing LHs scarecrow and snowman . Happy new Year😊!

I've made several bowl coozies and keychains/chapstick holders and a table topper. Then in about November I started cross stitching and love it too!
