That was a wonderful tour Annie. Your market is much nicer and far cheaper than my local market here in GenTri, Cavite. I'd guess the average price to be about 50% less and the choice of items available to be far more extensive. I really like that the majority of shops had the prices listed. That's a big plus when one often pays the price based on the length of their nose. 🤥You certainly do a great job promoting Davao. Hope you have a great Holiday with your family, Dear Annie. Keep dry and safe.😇

Hi Annie how are you? I like going to the market, often times my wife will send me with a list. I enjoy talking to the people there. Oh and all the neighbors that live on my route out of our subdivision. Wifey teases me she says” are you running for mayor you talk to every one like a politician “ hehehe!!! I say no baby I love Filipino people !!! They are fun to talk to!! About the prices, pork 248 a pound is what I pay here in California. Beef on sale is 598 a pound. Chicken drum sticks are .58 cents a pound. Chicken breast 1.98 per pound. There is a butcher shop near the gate of the subdivision that has really nice pork chops. I buy them there for the bbq. Life is good in the Philippines for rich expats. I’m waiting for my wife to retire then we will retire to the Philippines. Most people smile and laugh, it’s always nice to chat with folks in stores, waiting in line to pay bills, while walking, any time is a good time! Thank you Annie, God bless you and your family.
