This might be a minor change introduced in 5.1, but I don't have the "default" section of settings with the BP_Name selected where I can select a LLink Face Subject, instead I have a "Live Link" section where I can select an ARKit Subject. I'm not sure if the change is effecting my ability to connect my phone, as I put in the ipv4 address with default port 11111, but it does not show up in the editor as an option under ARKit Subject. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a different port number I should try?

I'm an animator getting into unreal and meta human facial capture. Is there a way to edit the animation after you've captured it using live link in unreal? I ask, because the animation has a lot of errors, espically with lip sync and will need a clean up pass. Is it possible to do it in unreal yet?

HI, I think i had this problem also. Make sure in the face app on your phone that the Timecode is set to NTP. After I did this my facial expressions started recording. Hope this helps!

Thank you! When I play the "Scene_1_01" sequence, I get a second character exactly like that, but without hair/brows/eyelashes. What to do? Let's say I hide the original character, but the animated one appears without hair/eybrows/eyelashes.

I had this and can't remember how to fix it. I can assume that these are unreal problems in 5, there are a lot of versions of them compared to 4.27. I spend a lot of time on their decisions. so for example, when transferring animation from depmotion, you need to reduce the number of frames during import so that the animation is transferred and it took me a lot of time to come to this decision and the solution is not at all obvious. If this error occurs again, I will make a video with the solution.

So I consider buying an iPhone a good buy. Faceware Studio - I worked and I will say that you can better customize facial expressions there, but for this you need to study the program very well. and it's not the easiest to learn.

there may be 2 options Do you have live link installed on your iPhone? if so, then your computer and phone may be on different networks. The phone must be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the computer.

The animations on the ue5.1 webcast show great face animations with metahuman, supposedly using live link. However, when I see others using it in videos such as this, it looks jerky and not so realistic. Very robotic looking. Is there some post processing needed to smooth it out?
