Live Loop-making on Guitar

Thanks for tuning into my channel. Today I'm jamming out, improvising on the fly to create a songful tune, which has been totally created on the spot. Everything I play on my Fender Squire RetroVibe Jazzmaster (which is a fancy way of saying “guitar”) is going through a Boss RC-30 Loop-station. By looping some chords on this loop pedal, I’m free to play riffs and solos, or mess around with my guitar pedals, to modulate and automate THE SOUND. In this particular video I’m playing around with the Mooer @Wah pedal, the Behringer digital multi-fx fx600 (on the delay setting) and the Behringer vintage delay vd400 (double delay for double the madness).
This series I've called “Meme Music” is a fun and challenging way to practice musical improvisation and ear training, as well as to experiment with sound design and production or recording techniques. Any accidental errors or great mistakes made in the recording of this audio/video cannot be erased, and so, this presents a challenge when recording. No doubt there’s more to come.
In this edition, I decided to mess around with a green screen as well as a multi-camera set-up, just to get some variation in the footage and to have a bit of fun. It's surprising just how easy a green screen can be to play around with, the creative opportunities being relatively endless and experimental. The background footage that I use are different recordings that I've filmed over the years, such as the mountains in Torres del Paine National Park, in Chilean Patagonia. Other images included are of the Araucania in Chile, some beautiful horses in idyllic fields, and some wavy clips of water, being edited with crazy colours to really accentuate the visuals.
Think of it as Brain-food for the soul, music for the spirit and inspiration to ears. I hope you’ve enjoyed this whacky experiment in musical improv and home-studio production as much as I did. Espero que les haya gustado mi video. Hace tiempo que quise postear contenido regular, y este material es el más natural que me surge, algo entretenido y práctico que puedo grabar yo mismo en casa. En este proceso he aprendido mucho sobre la producción audiovisual (luces, cámaras, acciones) y no solo musical. Toda mi musica es original e improvisada, creada en el mismo momento que grabo el video. Los errores no se pueden esconder, pero de todos se aprende.
