Just FYI there's a mod "easy armor stats", it shows actual stats of weapon, in addition to vague description, and your armor benefits will be listed above armor description too. I find it very good QoL add on, especially when playing on insanity.

So fun fact about the praetorian, it focuses exclusively on Shepard. Not mostly focuses on them, no it only attacks the player

That talk with Kaidan is soooo poorly written it pisses me off to this day, but mostly because of Shepard. Imagine you lose a loved one in a horrific way, spend years thinking they're dead, only for them to suddenly appear in a neo-nazi rally or something. And when you confront them, all they say is "Hey how are you? I'm not actually a nazi, but they saved my life and now I'm working with them cause they're the only ones who can help me :) Why are you angry?" Dang right I'd lose my mind, Kaidan was a lot kinder than what I would be. Also, if you saved Ashley, she's like " dang commander I got no love for aliens but cerberus? yikes." Whenever I play this game I heavily headcanon my way through that scene and completely disregard what's actually being said. I WISH Shepard could show a bit more emotion and understanding of how messed up the situation is.
