Great video Tank. Small fish feeder fishing seems a bit brash and harsh but great to see how you build & build throughout. must take some concentration to get the final results m8. Well done 👏

Love the way you introduced the particles, totally forgot about the crushed corn. 👍A question, the chopped worm looked like a slurry, did you chop them up with some water added to it?
@TackleguruTV2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, No I riddled off all the soil that came with the worms and then chopped them using three bladed scissors,. then I drained the juice off using our bait strainers. The worms just naturally have a lot of moisture/liquid. I don't think the liquid hurts at all. Quite like it in fact. Thanks for feedback mate. Frankie :)

Great upload, lots of tips n tricks. Thank you. Just a thought on small particles, would some scolded crushed hemp work? Roach love it and skimmers do graze on up here.👍👏👏
@TackleguruTV2 жыл бұрын
Yes scolded crushed hemp would work a treat, I personally don't use ti as I have confidence in my groundbait and loosened, but its something I might try in the future mate. Frankie.

Never thought of using my Westlake worm chopper for corn! And, size 10 for roach?
@TackleguruTV2 жыл бұрын
Yes, a big hook is more effective when you’re fishing for large numbers of small silvers quickly!

Great video, nice presentation style and good to see you don't cast on a sixpence, the fixed camera angle is great to show that. Chopped corn is great in Ireland for the Hybrids, bit like crushing the casters in a window feeder - I think it falls through the water a lot slower. At tamar when it's windy I worry the tow can drag your fish out of the swim, on a pole at just 13m you could think you've lost the fish but look 4-5m away from your feed zone and their they are. On a feeder I think the only combat is to stop feeding particles that waft away like worms and the chopped corn. Casters/corn sit on the bottom better and keeps fish in your kill zone.

Hi Zac, thanks for your comments mate. I actually caught a lot of fish to my left on this particular match. they definitely drift with the tow, so need to search your peg. Can easily do that with a feeder, juts like you can on a pole. All the best. Frankie.

@@TackleguruTV but don't you think you are then putting the particles further down and the same happens again
@TackleguruTV2 жыл бұрын
@@anglerzac the only trouble is you need to put particles in to keep the fish feeding and competing. Just nicking fish off groundbait doesn’t keep fish consistently coming. I find when I am chasing down my peg as such I do cut back slightly on particles, so in a sense you’re right but do need to keep particles going in. Frankie.

Great video pal i really don't think my patience could keep calm with them cormorants in my peg I've watched a video of a match there were you are he was having a good match decent size skimmers and a few bonus size perch he was in the front coming upto the last hour then 2 cormorants appeared killed his peg not a single fish in the last hour ended up getting overtook and lost the match with them pain in the arse
@TackleguruTV2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mark, they are a pain mate but they are a pain for everyone so I guess you just have to wade through it and keep calm 😂 (I don't know how patient I would have been if the cameras weren't there) Frankie.
