Well done Dave. I was on the same peg the day after you. I went for the same reason, a practice for the Golden Rod. I chickened out and fished the pole on that peg. I finished second in the match You may need to rethink on your practice as a catapult cannot be used also no feeding by hand Keep up the good viewing

Well done, Dave. Obviously a great match. Shocked at Alan’s, language on the phone 😂. Always thought butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth, lol. I’ve never managed anywhere near 200lbs in any of the matches I’ve fished. But being more of a silver fish angler I don’t really expect too. Nice to see you doing it though. 👍😁

Buy yourself a clicker Dave i use one gives you an idea of what you have at the end im usually a bit under my weight but there handy if theres a weight limit on nets so you dont go over. There only £4.99 off that auction site we all go on
