Hi Joe, as a club match angler, I enjoy watching and listening to your feeds because I found your approach was very much based upon (like other comments on this post), the why and how. Everyone knows, matches can be the most frustrating mind challenging thing when (as they do often), don’t go to plan. I think you have a wonderful ability to communicate better and clearer than most in more detail (obviously not in a live match), showing rigs, float choices, terminal tackle choices, methods, bait choice, feeding etc. slowly and at a pace to teach people your knowledge. Progressional anglers between themselves is a language, that doing day in day out is off the cuff, for the rest of us not as well versed, we need things explaining a little more slower and in more detail, certainly for me is very helpful. After all everyone watching match fishing pro’s, we are trying to learn and gain knowledge, not just watch someone else bagging up! But thanks, I think you are an excellent innovative thinking angler with a great presentation skill. All the best Joe.

Hi Joe. I think the format is about right. As a Club Match Man and occassional Open Angler I do like the way you present and execute the Video's. I think for some Anglers you might want to add comments on rig and swim and why as and when you do it. I think with the likes of Jon Arthur, Winning Way's Team, Des and your self we have a good cross section of why, where and what to both entertain and guide, educate and interest. I love the live matches. Especially with your commentary on your thought process. I think you are the best at doing this. It really helps me understand my own fishing and decision making. Love the videos there all amazing especially the match stuff. It would be nice to maybe cut demos in your garden of the rigs and thoughts to why you used them. I would also love to see more slider, waggler and feeder stuff. Also a mini series of a club water series. Not the typical commercials where depth is key and similar tactics are always used. I find with the smaller natural type waters you need to be more adaptable day by day. If that makes sense haha. Love your work. Ps. A detail video on going to a new lake and thoughts on swim choice and pluming around on waggler and pole with thoughts on feeder locations and finding depths and floor types.

Hi Joe, just curious with you saying about the strong side wind and having to use the full 16m of pole why did you choose to continue with the pole over maybe a feeder or bomb instead?

Ehup pal just a quick question about the x50 and x70 is there alot of difference apart from an extra top kit do you know what the weight of the 2 poles is Joe??

I'm not sure on the weight of the two but the X70 is a fair bit stiffer.

Hi Joe great video. But can you take the cameras to some harder fished waters were some anglers seem to catch every week and frame. I'm not being negative but these one or two anglers all ways seem to come out on top being a Yorkshire man in my autumn of my fishing because its driving my nuts lol. My fishing career has been very good with nationals wins at White acres. Just need to know thing like should I add micros in the ground bait do I us 5 kilos in one session do we fish Red meat instead of worm to avoid the small fish like perch n roach.

Try throw a few short vids maybe 5 to 10 min.. your matches are really good to watch but I think there's that much content about and people are always busy we don't get enough time to watch 40min vid. Limit the match vids to 1 every other week and rest of time do short and informative vids. Also get more shots of the float if possible it's more exciting for a viewer when you can see the bites.. lol makes you feel more involved. But overall to say your on your own I think your content is mint👍

How's about.. method v cage feeder on a commercial . As far as I'm aware I've never seen anyone fishing the cage feeder on a commercial. I'd like to see the difference between the two . Most of my fishing is rod n line. So it would give some folks extra advice especially on cage feeder.. perhaps get a guest in... Andy may or rich Chapman...

I appreciate the comment. My last 5 uploads have all been very different so hopefully that's something. I'm limited to where I can go in the week at the moment as I need to drop the kids at child care and pick them up also. So unfortunately I can't travel far.

In your situation, family first and in my opinion this is the right way. Because of these commitments, what you produce and your knowledge of the angling you do is brilliant. Carp fishing go to a lake catch carp then go to another lake catch carp fish down side then bomb over then the pole line every video the same thing by every person all trying to make it look special we even have double acts we see a person posing with 10LB fish why nothing special in that or 50lb plus net sorry just had to say where is this sort of ? The thing is in the future if fishing gets banned I’m sure it will be because of carp ponds I’ve had to take my grandchildren to carp lakes as they wanted to catch a big fish and over 50% never had lips
