At least it wasn't blowing a gale like it does even with a slight breeze, had lots of smashed sections because of the gusts of in blowing my pole of my map double v rollers. Glad it was quite calm for you.

@clivemilner When it's no5 to 10 or no11 sections on 2 map double V rollers. The gusts when holding at length are not the problem. It's when fishing short that is/was the problem. I now break my sections down, so there's 2 at most joined together. There's less surface area to get blown off the rollers. I've learnt my lesson, and I've not smashed 1 since...Fingers crossed.

Would love to see a match with only natural baits..mag,caster,worm evt...with only brown/white crumb for groundbait...rod and line only feeder or waggler🙂......no additives...or pellets........every angler on a level footings 🙂👍......I believe a true test of angler😇...but thats just me 👍
