Thanks for coming to the 305!!! Great camera work!! All those jets have to climb quick, especially when using the diagonal runway 12 so they don’t hit all those too-tall for the FAA condos downtown and on Brickell!! Lots of cargo from South America, especially fresh flowers and produce from Colombia and Peru. A great spot to view is right on LeJeune with the jets flying right over you! A-380’s are so big they look like they’re hardly moving!! With the Formula 1 race this weekend, you could cover all the Executive Jets flying into Opa Locka! Thanks again!!

Since I started watching about nine months ago, I think MIA has become my favorite location, especially from an audio standpoint. You can really hear the engines of each individual plane nicely, but it's nice and peaceful between planes - with occasional bird song! (None of that constant noise like at JFK, where I can only watch for a couple hours before my ears hurt!). Plus, you seem nice and close to the runway, with no trees or buildings in the way!

When testing batteries in Miami, keep in mind that those same batteries will probably give you even less runtime in Anchorage due to the colder temperatures. Sad but true...
