Nick shares some expert advice on using a personal monitor mixer for crafting your in-ear monitor mix. While Nick is demonstrating this while playing drums, a personal mixer is a great solution no matter what instrument you play.

another cool thing that lots of people enjoy for in-ears is the Behringer x32 mixers bc they allow you to mix and adjust monitors from your phone or tablet, but they also require either separate wireless packs or headphone amps to actually get the signal to you

I use Aviom as a church drummer... I love them. Currently using them through Beyerdynamic DT770M headphones. Soon, I'll be getting molds made for 64Audio A6 IEMs. Everythings in mono and I spread them out through the stereo spectrum to provide clarity without needing lots of volume.

Can I use a Behringer P16 with a Yamaha TF5? I’m using 32 channels, but I need to give my instrumentalists access to at least 20 channels.

Hey, Tope! Thanks for reaching out! You can use the P16 monitors - with a bit of a work around. You would also need to get the P16I interface. This would end up using 16 of your analog outputs of the TF5. You then can connect the P16 mixers to the P16I via Ethernet. The P16 mixers do have a limit of 16 channels, though.
