Im portuguese, i got the T7, pretty happy. 2 reasons i picked the Tenere instead of AJP : Yamaha reliability ( much better ) and AJP price, i believe the PR should be sold here around 9000 euros ish, no more. Ill be following to see how the bike holds on.

Mike, You cant compare handbuild to a serie-build bike from a french moped factory
@Mike.46392 ай бұрын
@@scannorse, what are you saying? AJP better built? Dont even think about it. In that field not many bikes can get close to the T7 and the ones that do Im 100% sure they are all japanese . Now, if your talking about value, thats totally subjective. I like the PR but ( big butt ) , engine is " old " and dated . Im pretty sure there Will be some issues, like eletrical. Overall is a bike for guys who like to get their hands on, there will be plenty to improve despite there have been significant improvements Over the series.

AJP can't cost less, sadly, because volumes of production can't be compared to T7.

Congrats on your new ride Robert! Nice decals it is. I loved my T7 but decided that it was too top-heavy for my liking. After a week of riding in Portugal this spring, riding some quite gnarly stuff, I struggled so much with the weight that I decided to let it go. I was through the same consideration: the 701 and sisters. AJP. Cove. I really liked the AJP but ended up going with a KTM 500 EXCF. I am home on that bike for now. Living with the roughness and short service intervals. But the AJP still shines in my memory. I am sure you did choose right :-)

Hello, I am the AJP buyer that you met on Stockholm’s motorcycle fair last February. You were kind to pass me some routes for Turkey. I am currently in Portugal, concluding my three month journey. I was at the AJP factory yesterday, They told me that a famous compatriot of mine bought an AJP :) What a bike! After riding 17000km of trails alone, I can safely claim that I would not have made it on another bike. I hope you enjoy many kilometers with it!

Congrats on the new bike. I have the 2022 model since new. The only mod you might want to do is change out the front fender. The one on the bike doesn't offer much protection. The Polisport ufx free flow universal enduro front guard is slightly longer and wider to stop the dirt and mud from flinging up over the front. Funnel web filters offer a Pre filter for the air filter to help keep the oem one clean. Otherwise enjoy the AJP and explore.

I am liking this bike the more I see it. I rode an SWM with the same motor and I was very impressed how smooth it was and how it revved. As usual you have done a very good job customising the bike but my only suggestion is if you can black out the silver frame spar below seat. I owned a the updatded 690 for a few years and it was a bit highly strung for dual sport/adv riding.

Hi Robert. Excellent choice especially for what you want it for. Simple. Lot of difference between ready to race and ready to ride. It also has a gear shifter. Sounds great. In watching Pavlin he visited the factory a two times a couple years back. It was interesting how they are made and put together. You could visit as well. I don't think they are sold ion the states USA anymore. Maybe. Get this big box and ride away. Sure TS and Mathias will like it. I kind of knew it when you tested it out at the rally. It had that feel. Just ride the heck out of it. Side note, like the tracking of the camera very much. Lot more interesting and on your side much easier to produce vids. Handy at camps and rallies. Shot a short vid firing it up outside and maybe a little ride through the gears before it snows a cod dragger. All good Nordic Adv friend. From east Kentucky USA, twist the grip. Take care. Be safe. Next time Nomad Mountain man
