A dog behaviorist told me that a dog is mentally mature at 24 months. It will get easier and some days are more challenging. Meadow is probably like a teenager…maybe? She’s a gorgeous dog and a great size for her active, outdoor lifestyle.

You can have that tent modified at a tent and awning appoulstrer. Add a vestibule, foyer, or mud room. Whatever you choose to call it. They can move the stove exit as well and you wouldn't have to buy another new tent.

Oil of clove is good for treating mould and mildew. Also you can get transmitters that you can attach Meadows collar so you can keep track of where she is. Is Meadow a malinois mix?

lol i thought those stains that you said were the mud from Arizona was still from when your mokapot exploded and managed to hit everything except you and Sierra! The great coffee explosion! I know you're super handy, but if you look for a person who makes boat tops (they generally are custom and don't come with) I am sure they could fix that tent and all its zippers up real good. IME they are excellent with the waterproofing of the zippers etc which makes them invaluable... I wish I knew what these people were called cuz I know my guy by name since he is a guy my dad went to highschool with HAH. I guess you would say he does a lot of work with vinyl and boat seats, snowmobile seats, custom seat finishes for cars etc and then boat tops and all that stuff. It would probably take him like a weekend to get your tent like new. Anyway just a thought since sewing etc is time consuming esp with a giant tent and a small living space!

My dog is 4 which means he was a covid dog. He is sooo freakin needy as far as separation anxiety goes. He is a bunch of small breeds and rottweiler according to his DNA so he is about 33lbs. But, of every dog I've had in my life (I was born into a house of dogs!) he is the absolute most needy but also the one who communicates the best like he has his own sign language. As a mom of two adult children, he reminds me of my youngest who was a toddler with undiagnosed ADHD. The vet says most of their patients who were born in 2020 have very similar anxiety issues and a LOT of them are on psych meds to help them live their best life, but I don't want to pay for a psych eval for a dog and then have him put on medications when he doesn't struggle as long as he has me around. He can be aggressive towards the vet or anyone who comes close to me, but again that something I've been told is normal for the covid dogs... I think Meadow coming into the world at the end of the covid lockdowns but while people were still hesitant probably has effected her to some degree as well. We simply struggled to socialize AND to feel safe in doing so for basically 2-3 years... even if we knew we had been cautious trusting others was worrisome and even for people who simply don't believe in covid, the people around them may not have felt that way and it still left like a very tense world and I know our furry children had to have been affected by that being in the air... You do a great job with meadow and socializing her the best you can but I def don't blame her for being apprehensive since that's exactly what society did. I say that as a person whose stepson died from Covid at age 11... it's def not something I don't believe in, but I see the socialization damage done to both human relationships and how our pets behave...

Do you remember "Joy To The World" or "One Is The Loneliest Number?" They were recorded by a band called "Three Dog Night." The band took their name from a phrase that referred to how cold it was at night. Because in the great white north it was common to sleep with your dogs as a heat source. Hence a ""Three Dog Night" or a "Four Dog" stove.

Im looking at the Tune (I love the look of it!) but also thinking about getting a 270+ awning with walls to give me some outdoor enclosed space. whats your thoughts on that vs a popup tent/screen room??.. I had an ARB square awning and room but it was always a hassle to pack it up if i wanted to run into town/adventure during the day.
