Its pretty great to be able to watch good standard boxing on a weeknight, especially with what seems a relatively high proportion of (theoretically) competitive fights, and a commentary team which actually talks about the fight they are watching instead of blabbing about anything but the fight. Also, the lack of celebrity level fighters means the lack of extreme casuals, who are largely responsible for the incessant booing which plagues American boxing/combat sports. Good job all round.

It was because on the other side away from the ref so he basically couldn't see it. It happens, in fact a lot of dirtier fighters will actually punch low specifically when the ref is behind like this and can't see the host clearly. I actually think he handled it pretty damn well, like yea he obviously didn't see it clearly and got it way wrong, but then he went to the replay to check it and reversed it. I mean that's about the best you could ask for whenever a ref gets a call wrong.

It's because he was at the wrong angle so he didn't see where Leo's punch landed clearly and when he sees Plania going down , Plania looks like holding/covering his groin in pain. That's why he thought it was a low blow.

I don't like the way Gamble sticks his chin up in the air, although he started keeping his left hand high to block right hooks by his opponent after getting cracked cleanly in the first couple of rounds. He needs to keep that chin tucked in in future fights. He looked good otherwise, keeping his composure despite being bullrushed most of the night. Good looking prospect. I'm just watching the card now and was not able to to watch it last night.
