Former world champion Angelo Leo (23-1, 11KOs) continues his quest back to world titles as he faces action packed world title challenger Eduardo Baez (23-5-2, 9KOs).
Leo has impressed since returning to the ring on ProBox TV, winning twice by way of stoppage against strong competition, as he looks to force a fight with one of the world champions.
Baez on the other hand knows a win against Leo rejuvenates his career, as he maintains his ambitions on gaining another world title shot.
Joining the two Mexican contenders is rising Puerto Rican super featherweight Jaycob Gomez (9-0-1, 7KOs), who faces the equally as ambitious Jose Arellano (11-1, 6KOs) over 8 rounds, as the winner looks to establish that they are the one to watch at 130-pounds.
Tampa's Dominic Valle (8-0, 6KOs), continues his professional journey against Angel Vazquez (12-1, 6KOs), in another battle of ambitious prospects with similar intentions as Gomez-Arrellano, establishing that they are one to watch in the super featherweight division.

I, also am glad we now have ProBox TV. I missed the fights last night but am now watching them on Thursday night. Great commentators. Have always enjoyed Paulie and Chris makes for a great addition. Maybe audio can improve. Need commentators volume up a bit and less ring and audience sound.

1:14:47 1:15:45 1:28:39 Arellano is a reckless and dirty fighter. He did this the whole fight and the ref didn’t deduct him any points. The reason Arellano was getting all bloodied and marked up so early is because he was leaping into Gomez (leading with his head) from the outside to clinch, and practically headbutted Gomez each time. Jimmy Smith worked out great, better than before. Goldberg started doing it old fashioned "network style" last time out. You know the stuff - never under any circumstances talk about whats actually happening right now, panic at a brief moment of quiet and start telling us about the fighters friends and families for the 20th time, constantly draw the other guys into long rambling irrelevant conversations, and generally making it difficult as possible for the viewer to score the fight. That's not what ProboxTV is about. Jimmy Smith did just the right amount of prompting and presenting, without disrupting shotcalling and analysis. Good job.

These American refs need to start taking points off for excessive clinching. Arellano was clinching so much and was never admonished, let alone deducted a point. Excessive clinching is a widescale problem in boxing right now that needs to be addressed but similar to judging, who knows if they want to fix it…

Wasn’t Gomez’s fault. Arellano was excessively clinching, diving in with his head to initiate the clinch which led to headbutts, and already was cut up and bloodied by the 3rd round due to his reckless style and headbutting. Horrible ref job. Didn’t admonish Arellano for leading with his head, the headbutts, or the excessive clinching.
