This show is a national show in Serbia. We have a museum with all characters in. This is a way of living life for us Serbs, this show is a mirror or our society and that’s why we love ONFH. I agree, it's 1 of a few sitcoms I can Watch over and over and still laugh my nuts off. Even in 20 years from now people will discover and enjoy this masterpiece. For me it's the best comedy ever produced.

One of the BEST comedy shows i have ever seen on TV... It even ranks there among the top TV shows ever made.. the characters are so lovingly crafted and developed and the casting is absolutely spot on, every single character from Del boy to Denzel to Trigg, to Mike.. every single one.. it is a shame that they dont, or wont, make shows like this one again.

like every comedy show they run out of ideas, this became evident when Del in America is mistaken for a mafia boss, the everyday lives and routines for comedy became exhausted so they turn to the ridiculous story line concepts.

Buster Merryfield (uncle albert) was an awesome character.. Went from bank manager to iconic actor in one of the greatest sitcoms ever. Such a lovely down to earth bloke too

Realise, it is only a studio set but that is a nice big flat Del has there. Would cost a fortune today. Council, private or home owned. 2:41 That timing where Uncle Albert says "where" just as Del takes a sip of tea. Impeccable.

But you have to see it, as that was one if the things I always remember, I don't know how long he was in Porridge 🥣 It may have been on the story of David Jason I saw it on GOLD! But it was the sharp writing made those ep memorable!

The great thing about these old BBC shows is their relatible. Im only 20 wasn't born when this first aired but everyone I know knows someone who is best described as a "delboy". Talk a dog of a meat wagon. Older relatives telling stories. Random shit in my dads loft he tells me he stole 35 years ago and never got rid of. Now days BBC progarams just reminds me I need to pay the TV licence license.

Fun fact: the reason they hired Buster was due to the fact they (Buster and Lennard) had worked together and built up a lil friendship months prior to Lennard's unfortunate death... It was a great decision to cast Buster imo. He really made the character an OFAH icon! Uncle Albert was my fave along with Del, Trig and Boycie 😍❤️

John Sullivan always knew how to picture a scene with enough dignity & humour, Like the scene in where Delboy & Rodney are standing over Grandads (Lennard Pearce) grave & its a poignant scene in where they find 'Grandads' hat & throw it into the grave! They meet two elderly women & say "i do love a good funeral " Delboy quips " Hang on for a little while, There'll be another one in a while " 😏 Then cut later to a scene in where the vicar is heading outside pulling up his jacket & asking the two women, "Have you seen my hat anywhere, I left it outside" lol 😂 Also it was a nice tribute as Lennard Pearce passed away in the filming during the previous episode & This episode introduced us to Uncle Albert in where Delboy is told by Albert's relations ( who drove him) that he only bumped around for a cup of sugar & that was 18mths ago ☺ Another scene, at Triggers aunts wake, Delboy says to Trigger, "I'm sorry to hear what happened to your aunt" Trigger replies back " That's OK, Del, it wasn't yer fault" 😂 Classic comedy is Priceless 🤭
