Well said Jon, I agree with what you have said and admire how you live your life in alignment with these values. Planning for the future, thinking ahead, steals the enjoyment from the present moment. We have no future, and thus nothing to lose but the experience of being here today fully. Too many people suffer and waste the best years of their life hoping to be happy one day in the future. The creatures (birds, animals, fish ,insects) of this planet have no understanding about tomorrow, and yet look at how happy they are and how much they do in a day. Tomorrow is an illusion and there's no time like the present. Let us not waste another day. Thank you Jon!

People are programmed robot slaves of the system thinking happyness starts with extern factors like status, money, material things that means nothing and its relativ and an illusion create by society. If your happyness depend on extern factors you will never be because extern factors are endless. Happyness starts inside you The more people around you, the more expectations, talk about others, lying, frustrations, negativity, jealousy, hate, opinions, sneakyness, double standards, own benefits, judge, comparing etc.....reflection of their broken empty souls. Alone or in solitude you have more strength, peace, power, happyness, freedom and time. The here and now is where the magic happens.....be the light in your own life. And no, not feeling superior or better then others but more be carefully and awake.
