You really have no idea what you're talking about. The name Irish Mafia/Mob is a gang like any other gang. Their name doesn't mean they have to operate like mafia in "The Godfather" movies! Their presence is very real all over Oklahoma and are big time runners for drugs from other gangs between Dallas to OKC to Kansas City and Denver. From what I understand from the OKC gang unit is their membership isn't large enough to hold their own territory but they often take risky/dangerous tasks from other gangs for a fee or cut. In many ways they are hired by other gangs to do a lot of their "dirty work" and have a very violent reputation! They have no allies with other gangs because they sell out to the highest bidder at any given time.

I just recently moved to the area. Tulsa is just like any other city. It has bad areas but there are some very nice suburbs of the main city. Owasso, broken arrow, claremore, and jenks are just to name a few. Just stay out of Tulsa city limits.
