Why? He was moving his finger so fast. I was having a hard time keeping my eyes on his finger and I'm watching on a screen. It's weird to me they even do these test's in America. In Canada every cop has a breathalyzer in the car with them and force you to blow in them if they suspect anything.

@@badgerbox her main problem wasnt on the speed. she even tried following it with her head. she's clearly intoxicated. on top of that, it's more on the fact that individuals may not be as cooperative on the breathalyzer as the test. on top of that, the legal alcohol limit varies from state to state. this is an all-around tool for helping any and every person who may have the unfortunate chance to drive overintoxicated with the possibility to harm yourself and other people. on top of that youre not looking from the same perspective or distance as she is. his finger moves so fast, but to her eyes, it has distance and is much easier to follow with her eyes due to her proximity to the cop

@@badgerbox breathalyzers are great for alcohol, but these additional tests also show if they're impaired from ingesting/doing something else. She got way too many chances with that test though.

@@amberb1641 Fair enough. I get being under the influence doesn't always mean alcohol but 90% of the time it is. I think some people struggle with these tests even sober because their hand-eye coordination/motor skills aren't as sharp as the average person. Does that mean they shouldn't be driving? I don't know but the DMV doesn't do these tests when you go in to renew your licence, which is where these tests should also be conducted.

I was pretty disappointed in that they didn't seem to take him very seriously as a victim. It seemed that the woman would have been let go if she had been cooperative with police. They just treated it as a dispute and not domestic violence and assumed the guy wouldn't want to give a statement.
