Bihu is the festival of joy and colors .Its being practiced for a month, costume is a strictly stapled one which is worn specially while performing bihu।the color and form of this dress is the original bihu costume।Its made of pure muga silk worm specailly cultivated in assam.Costs around 30-50 thousand for the whole set of this dress because of rare variety of muga silk worm. Every assamese girl basically try to gather it either by own or from ancestors. The dress worn by boys are same made of muga silk. Instruments are "Dhol","pepa","gagana" which are enough to win heart over any creation of electrical instrument. Thank you for appriciation and understanding. Bihu is our heart❤

@@uglybeast7111 If you can keep aside the negative intention,Bihu is a whole sentiment of any assamese including any tribe। However we assamese are collection of different tribes। Bihu is an ocassion celebrated. there is nothing to mix with tribal or non tribal feelings। If someone celebrates durga puja ,then will u tell that tribals are ignored? Everyone has their own customs to celebrate। Celebrating one major occasion doesnt mean dominating other festivals। Learn to be logical and postive। Dont bring everywhere the topic of seperation। Missing ,bodo, lalung, kochari , etc etc everyone celebrate and enjoy bihu in their own way. Celebrating Bihu doesnt aim to dishonest its branches.Be clean and Clear . We all are assamese together and Bihu is a product of mixed culture. No one is given individual attention in bihu. Its just about assamese as a whole
