Man, on the Reggie Love point Imagine leaving Illinois to go to Purdue only to watch Illinois go 9-3 while you go 1-10 with about 40 less touches, 200 less yards, and half the tds that he had last year with Illinois. I know he probably would have taken a back seat role this year with the stable that Illinois has at the position but in a way it seems like justice for choosing to play for Purdue.

@ somebody should! I’d for sure watch a breakdown video of that each year at the end of the season could probably be in a way a good recruiting point or retention strategy like this is what guys do at Illinois and this is what it looks like when they decide to leave. Coach B will bring the best out of you and help you develop it kinda thing

Illinois had bad depth when he arrived. He had some good holdovers and look what he did with them in his first year they went into Happy Valley and won. They won at Minnesota. Now he has some real success and some depth developing in the roster. Now the talent level in recruitment can hopefully rise.

Seismic change has infiltrated the college game in these recent years. Massive disruptions by the portal, NIL, realignment, early signing. But what doesn’t change: winning culture, this Bielema family identity, and a physical mentality. Timeless.
