The families deserve to know what happened and why. If DEI played a factor then they should know that. If it's just incompetence, they should know. They also should know what's going to be done moving forward to fix the shortcomings, whether it's the ATC or the military or something else.

I think President Trump should keep his press conferences SHORT. For four long years we could barely get a syllable out of Biden's mouth - let alone a press conference - but Trump seems to want to establish information (that's out of reach) to the press. Problem is, there is no logical explanation for why this happened, so aside for explaining that it was a clear night and the plane was on its appropriate trajectory, the problem seemed to be with the helicopter and why, if a helicopter has so much leeway to pivot out of the way, then why didn't it? That's it. Keep it simple. I would not have mentioned DEI. Throwing out the defunct DEI theory, is like throwing bloody red meat to the piranhas. Don't give them a reason to foam at the mouth. Let others explain the fine detail, if they are interested. Just my 2 cents.

If you listen to the recording of the first responders on scanner you hear them pull back all the first responders from the blackhawk because the Army said it might have live ammo onboard. Why was a blackhawk flying with live ammunition onboard? Is it normal for the army to be flying with ammunition for the door guns on a domestic Army flight? But the story is the UH-60 was on a check ride or night flying proficiency flight or something . I wonder where that order to pull back from the UH-60 came from, it may have been just the fire boats being cautious, but to me that's kind of strange.

It's very interesting that a tragedy of this magnitude, which is very rare, happens within days of Trump taking office again. Like it was pretty damn interesting that a pandemic, which is also very rare, happened the very same year that Trump was running for office again....I was really waiting for something to happen after the recent elections, and this was the first one, and I am expecting that a lot of other rare, weird things that will continue to happen for the next few years while Trump is in office....I wonder why all these "accidents" happen during a particular time period.
