His speech started very respectful and sincere. When the blame started I felt upset because it felt disrespectful to do to the families of those lost. But then I thought about it. The families want to know why it happened. Trump is correct, the FAA needs to have people with a higher level of intellect. I worked in aviation as a mechanic. Everything you do you are taking lives into your hands. If I make a mistake or I don't address something that should be addressed I could be the reason lives are lost. I worked with mechanics that shouldn't have been and I wasn't afraid to tell them that because lives are at stake anytime you work on that aircraft. We need better people in aviation.

@msudlp msudlp bc it's an added distraction from what the whole point of the dam job is about. How much time do they need for personal breaks, bathroom, lunch? How much stuff has to be done to control room to get a wheelchair in position at the right place. If you're in a wheelchair you're more likely to have other health concerns/conditions and how much does that affect performance. The list is endless..not only that, once the door is open..its ALWAYS open. What about me with only one eye in a wheelchair, what about no arms and I use my mouth to touch the screen, what about my friend who's in a wheelchair but has a mild mental.problem. The line is drawn at healthy ( all doing same exact physical test), psychologically fit, merit based performance test. Everyone does same exact process no exceptions. Period
