This is the second or third video telling writers, mainly young pople with no conservator experience or eduation that if they want to get in this field to "call conservators, ask the converators if they can come look at their studio's, make them cookies"....why not tell them what the conserators will say - get a BA or BFA in fine arts or Art history, then a MA in conseration from graduate schools such as The institue of Fine Arts in NY. They has conservation program that offers graduate degrees such as the MS in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works and a MA in the History of Art and Archaeology. This is nt something that you can walk off the street or volunteer for.

How would identify a artist such as Pablo Picasso, Roy Lichtenstein, Salvador dali. Even though every one says they belong to a certain movement such as cubism, surrealism, pop art. They actually did do more things that most people would know about them. And they did really great things as well
