I am Canadian. We receive healthcare @ no cost. I had major heart surgery and never paid a penny. Never a bill. However it’s not perfect. Canadians pay for healthcare through taxation. Yes, there are wait times and shortages. However needing a procedure either minor or major you will not face potential bankruptcy. In an absolute emergency treatment will likely be available.

OmB yalls system is fascinating. I have a friend that moved up, broke his ankle and free healthcare so the amputation was free......bc it took 3yrs better appts that by the time seen.....it had to be removed. Wrong healing. But, we still have women dying during child birth, with debt. Its very interesting removing the wing argument
