You can save both by saving senior because children have strong stamina. Also, who will cure young people if our professionals who are obviously older will not be vaccinated ? Also, we have not given any vaccine yet to below 15 yrs old. Why? Because the old ones are more prone. Cmon! The judges seemed to be unaware of facts. 🤣

@@josephgodinez5772 exactly! The current approved COVID-19 Vaccine by Moderna and Johnson&Johnson is approved for 18y.o and older and Pfizer COVID vaccine is approved for 16yo and above. I like Sam's answer because she kept the vulnerable protected by not sacrificing the other population the 15yo. She also emphasized the young ones has the stamina to fight off the virus, hence she chose the vulnerable to be preferably vaccinated over the other. Whereas USA, though having been able to present a good case in choosing the young ones to be vaccinated of the COVID-19 over the old ones, but she technically missed to respond to the age in question, 15 yo, and not 16yo as she mentioned. It does make a difference because, not only that she missed to show her listening skills, but also factually no COVID-19 is yet approved for 15 years and younger. So to me the best answer of the night is Ms. Philippines, given that she shown not only science in her answer that backed her up for not choosing the 15 years, she also shown emphaty to the elderly and even included the audience in support of her choice. But anyhow, USA and Philippines deserve the crown given that individually have worked hard to get it!!

Exactly. I love that her answer is logical and personal at the same time. It's like she gave us a piece of her in that answer and that's truly heartwarming. I guess, the speaking-in-Thai-language antic is the only thing that mattered. Also, I had the feeling no matter how good Samantha's answer will be, she won't be crowned as MGI because Nawat and pageant people in the Philippines don't exactly have the best relationship. It's just funny to me how emotional USA was every round her name was called as if she didn't know she's one of the favorites.

Hi Sam you only prove that the Philippines will never win in this competition. Even if it was so obvious that you gave the best answer among the three of you.if you didn’t answer it right Ms Guatemala should have won the 1st runner up and Miss USA the winner but there was already inconsistency in there. @@nawanawa8971 15 years old? Where do they go? They have online classes too and no reasons to go out. The point here is who is vulnerable in having the virus and who has the bigger chance to survive. Since a 15 year old is young so that means he/she has the bigger chance to survive because they have healthier body than the older ones and their immune system is more reliable than those senior citizens and another thing, teens can easily do activities which can help them improve their stamina and immune system also their health to fight the virus if ever they acquire the virus unlike the old ones they are too old to exercise, to do workouts and even running and walking. Another thing is, the vaccine is applicable only to those persons 18 years old and above, clearly MGI management did not do their research before asking this question.

Philippines' answer was the most solid, to think they said the scores of the last 3 ladies standing were zeroed and so the answer to the last question should be the basis. I agree! Sam did really well with her answer. I wasn't expecting her answer to be that, but she nailed it nonetheless. They all did well! I think Abena's Thai translation gave her an edge though. Honestly, last night's events felt like MU 2012 all over again. They made use of Samantha's huge fanbase to gain support from the Filipinos, and it worked considering how much screentime Sam had from the Preliminaries down to the finals. I don't even need to go deep into the answers during the Q and A because both the first and second Q and A sessions were aced by the Philippines. Miss USA's answers were something everyone watching expected, and it's not carrying the same substance as what Sam had said. It's honestly so tiring, seeing how they try so hard to keep the Philippines from winning the golden crown. Miss Grand International is entertaining, but that's all it's ever going to be. It will never be a pageant that fosters fair judgment and justified decisions. They need to change their ways, not because of the Philippines, but because their reputation diminishes every single time they commit these types of obvious and unfair acts.

I guess Ms. Samantha's was the most technical, practical and scientific answer and should have won the competition. It was so hard to organize that idea .in that very short period of time and was so witty of her,,, of not sacrificing anyone but saving both was very amazing.. the judges should have thought of the very technical aspect of her answer which was factually supported by scientific explanation... if scores were back to zero, what influenced the judges to declare the winner other than the deserving one? very intelligent woman indeed!!

This is definitely the best MGI edition. Both the last 2 women (USA and Philippines) standing truly deserve to win. Production wise, MGI nailed it big time. Honestly, this edition change the game in pageantry in terms of identifying what is the Big 3 Pageants.. MGI production this year showed a balance of Glam and Social relevance... and the Top 5 and even Top 10 were fierce... We can definitely agree that Sam's answer to the last question was evidence-based and being compassionate at the same time. But it became useless because the organization failed to recognize and comprehend what's right. We are wasting our representatives sent to that pageant. We never had a candidate for MGI as ready and very eager as Samantha Bernardo that's why it's so heartbreaking. I mean, a 1st Runner-Up finish is not bad but she really deserved that crown this time. We got so invested in this pageant because we know that we sent a high-caliber representative but still to no avail. The probability of having a triple tie is so low, I think the winner there is the PH but nawat don't like that country so what they did was to make it as if they are all having the same scores.
