Live Read of the first chapter of my memoir + Ask Me Anything at the end

This is a live read of the first chapter of my memoir detailing my battle with an extremely rare stage IV kidney cancer. My portion of all proceeds from this book will be donated to research.
This is the first thing I've ever written, so bear with me while we figure this thing out.

Thank you again for sharing you story with us. I am in my own process of finding answers regarding my health and I deeply resonated with some of your emotional experiences. My mother was diagnosed with cancer when I was younger, and she has been cancer-free for many years now. I’m not sure where you are now in your own process but I hope one day you are able to feel secure in your health once more.
