The page is still not updated, shows 7688 for GamerNexus. So for 2:36:10 ,for a score of 15494 at the time of comment its placed number 8th replacing PCBetter on Time Spy Graphics Score (non extreme ) single. And for 2:40:04 on Fire Strike Extreme 1X Gamer Nexus moves up from 8th position to 4th replacing 巴菲特黄金大炮阻 (good luck reading that name :P ). I will post the image imgur link. I can read it because I'm a Chinese :D. 巴菲特黄金大炮阻 is actually the username for a Chinese hardware review channel, borrowing their friend's i9 7980xe, and try to overclock the crap out of them to get on the Hall of Fame. It's certainly pretty impressive for a couple college students to get such a high score. Here is there video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZvLiHWvlLaYpaM

If you cant make your liquid cooler, you can make it LARGER. Increase the size of your coolant storage to as much as you can, since it will take longer for the larger mass to heat up.
@bayanzabihiyan74656 жыл бұрын
Just use the RAD in a large bucket of ICE water. Even 500w of heat from the gpu will takes ages to increase the temp of that water.

I use conductonaut on my GPU who is cooled by raijintek morpheus 2. I have placed thermal pads all around the DIE to make the thing safe. I don't know if it's a lot better, because i have mounted everything directly without testing, but it rocks. it's a 1080, during gameplay it hit 69C at 2060mhz with whisper quiet cooling. Before that, it was freacking loud and could hit 80C.

Shunting will always eat the solder, I followed all of the guides on it and it still ate the solder even with glue protecting the solder from spilling over. There is an alternative to shunting that involves soldering resistors onto a different part of the PCB, there is a guide for the 1080 that works on other cards: xdevs.com/guide/pascal_oc/#step3 this is much better than the shunt mod and much better/reliable.

Linus won't even address #RIPLTT in a video. They don't have the time to have frivolous fun anymore, since they're now a BUSINESS that has to pay its employees so that they don't starve to death, and wasting time on a video like this that is probably going to bomb is going to result in planned pay cuts. And not all their staff will agree to have pay cuts. Just kidding, but that sounds like what Linus would say as his excuse.

neoqueto highly doubt nvidia would let ltt rebuild their sponsored Volta like GN did who actually bought the card himself. also, without questioning ltts knowledge, I kinda think gn in collaboration with buildzoid and good contacts to der8auer has way more technical know how. Linus score was just buy the most high end stuff, light overclock anyone could do with that gear, done. also, I'm sure most ltt viewers would not really be interested in oc contest. not enough screening and Dyson adds in there. to be clear, I still enjoy some of the videos (self driving car, disk saver office your) which are only possible because of the channel size, but the rest of the content has gone a bit downhill

Instead of LM has you tried a conductive pen? I've had some success with it myself and it carries much less risk of overspill etc. It is still a temporary solution as it can be removed with isopropyl alcohol, also you can control the resistance by adding a little or wiping some away while it is still wet.

about the question on cases with mesh panel: I think it's great that Silverstone are doing cases with good airflow, the problem is that they should do doing something aesthetically better, instead of just following the trend of cases with bad airflow. Soo... if you have problems, getting the OC on the GPU stable...Is there any reason in particular, why you don't touch the GPU Voltage? Is that not possible / reasonable with a TITAN V anymore? I mean... it's not like you are being squeamish with the Voltages on the CPU or the RAM. So why the restraint with the GPU? (only reached the 1:29:00 time marker in the video so far.. so sorry, if you still get to the GPU voltage later on)

Ok, thanks for the info. Personally I am still stuck with my Maxwell 980 Tis, where the Voltage still has a more or less significant impact. Don't have any experience with the newer GPUs yet.
