Love Robin’s new designs! As someone who stitched for YEARS with a floor stand and roller bars, I didn’t know about stitching in hand until recently, but I love it! Thanks for sharing all the great items! My birthday is coming up, so I need to start a (long) list!

I love, love, love the tea dyed Monaco. I started using it about two years ago when I needed a good color to stich on for my Prairie Schooler yearly Santas and FQS had it in stock. I'm working on my 5th Santa and the more I stitch, the more I enjoy working on it. Great color, and very easy to stitch "in hand". So glad you like it too!

Thanks for highlighting the new designer from Robin Pickens. Love the fall colors. One of the best tools that I didn’t think was needed is the Unstitcher. Always used a regular needle to pick out stitches but this tool is so effective and I like the handle on it. I now own 2 of them.

I was always stitching on 14 count aida, but I have come to love stitching on higher count aida and even weaves. I also used to use DMC floss spool holders which I didn't really care for, so I tried the floss-bitties from FQs. I LOVE THEM!! I put the color numbers on them and hold them all together with binder rings. Thank you for the great showing of Robbin Pickens new patterns. I can't wait to try some of them. I also immediately ordered Erica Michael's A Bee C's as soon as I saw it was in stock!! Such an exciting Flosstube Live!!!💕💕💕💕💕

I didn't think I would like 40 count linen (I usually use 28, 30 or 32) but I tried it recently and love it! I stitch with 1 floss thread over 2 linen threads, and I like the ease of having only one thread. I was surprised I could actually see the holes fine. So glad I gave it a try! Thank you for your videos and business!

I began cross stitching last last December and struggled with knotting floss until I found the Unstitcher. This little tool is my favorite and was a game changer for me whenever I had a knot in the floss. I never had to cut it when all I have to do is gently pick at the floss and it would come out. Also, no more tears if I had made a mistake in a stitch because now I can unstitch it neatly and not ruin my fabric. I love this little tool and I have 2 of them. One in each of my notion tins in my project bags.

Actually the first time I tried cross stitch was after checking out your floss tube video on flea market flowers. ( I was I was an avid watcher of quilt you tube videos at the time. ). I never thought I would enjoy cross stitch even though use to do embroidery, but here I am a couple years later wanting to cross stitch as much as piece and quilt. So my answer is cross stitch..lol

I returned to cross stitching after about 25 years... I was strictly using Aida 14 count. But I joined the Stictching with the Housewives Quartely and received 28 count even weave in the kit and wow was I reticent to use it... Surprisingly I liked it...Some getting used to plus I found rather than stitching in hand I returned to a hoop for 28 count. Plus it was very soft so had some trial and error but conquered it ( of course with a Daylight)... Its fun to move away from a comfort zone and surprise yourself!

The Cohana scissors are made with a special Japanese method of what we would call plastic with many layers and then layers of lacquer over that. So happy you will be carrying their products. I own several pairs of the small scissors and 2 of the larger dressmaker type ones. I do have a pair of those snips with the wrapped handles but don’t use around my cross stitch only snipping when quilt piecing. Best to you. Love your videos.

Hi Kimberly and team!!! Thank you for such an informative episode. i love the Mod Bloom Box and Peaceful Posy Wreath by Robin Pickens, they are now on my wish list. One cross stitch product that I didn't think I would like but I love is the K's Creations baby z-frame. People either love it or hate it but I find it to be perfect for what I need, the counter-balance screw is what makes it work for both q-snaps and nurge frames. I also like how it folds flat so I can take it back and forth to work with me so i can work on it during my lunch break.

For me switching from Black Aida to Chalkboard Black was a happy surprise. No need to change out the thread colors that the designer listed as the colors pop just as nicely as if on black. I thought the Clover dome needle holder was an odd notion, but being one that loves all the gadgets, I bought it. I love using it when I’m stitching on a monochromatic piece. It’s so nice to thread 10 needles at a time and be able to stitch for hours before needing to thread needles again.

I didn't think I would enjoy the Nurge embroidery hoop. Anytime I am stitching on a softer fabric or linen I use it and have enjoyed it so much. While I like to stitch in hand, I find that my stitches are not as consistent on the softer or flimsier fabrics so the smaller size Nurge hoop is my go to. So happy that I tried this product.

I never thought I would ever use linen, let alone 40 count linen. I love evenweave and was very content using that. I am loving stitching with 1 strand and I never thought I would.

I never thought that I'd like smaller hoops for stitching. I don't like having to move my hoop, and I like seeing the full canvas so to speak. But I just had a corner left on a big project and fitting it into stitching range in a larger hoop was difficult. Fortunately, on a whim (or maybe it was OCD), I had purchased all the sizes of the wooden Nurge hoops, which I absolutely love. Turns out, I love a smaller hoop after all. Nice to know there's a place for all sizes. My other thing isn't really a device, but one day I was stitching with a friend and I finished one section and needed to restart elsewhere with a short piece of floss. I said I hate having to start when I'll only be able to do a few stitches. She said, "You don't have to." Lightbulb moment. Changed my life. It might be a little wasteful, but come on, how much was I really saving?

I have 2 products I was on the fence about using but they turned out great for me. One is 25ct lugana. I thought the stitches would be too big, but they're not, and I love that I can stitch on it easily enough without magnification. I like it for projects with dense stitching. The other tool is the Unstitcher by Lori Holt. I wasn't sure if I'd be wasting money on it when my needle was doing an ok job of frogging for me, but this little tool is awesome. It does a much more efficient job of frogging and provides a weight that the needle doesn't have to prevent it from flying out of my hand when a stitch gets snagged while being unpicked. Best little tool ever!

I have tried so many things that I love. Ort container, thread catcher, small scissors, project bag, portfolio, rings for floss. Thanks Kimberly.

My I tried it and loved it was my Nurge hoop! I saw it on your video a while back and thought I would try but I didn’t expect to love it like I do! So happy you were back this week 💖
