Live: Royal Family arrives at Prince Philip’s memorial service

Senior members of the Royal family and other invited guests are arriving at Westminster Abbey for Prince Philip's memorial.
The Queen, who has been heavily involved in planning the event, will be in attendance to pay respect to her late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, who died last April.
Boris Johnson, the prime minister, is also expected to be present, alongside other royals and 500 representatives from Philip’s patronages.
Tuesday's ceremony will pay tribute to the Duke's dedication to “family, nation and Commonwealth”.

I love Princess Anne. She is like the Elvis of the royal family. Elvis would always stop and talk to the janitors. Human to human. Princess Anne stopped and talked to the people standing at attention. She was the only one who made that human to human connection. A recognition of respect for their service.

I am only #26:08 in you can clearly see duke of Gloucester talking to 1 of them , so don't say the only 1 . Plus junior members of the royal shouldn't talk to them they have no official capacity, foreign royals shouldn't either . If they did they will delay others because they came in a bus . Plus Anne is probably a patron of some of these youth in some way , maybe they are in her regiment or scouting body . So she recognized the uniforms .

I don't know how could you tell ? They appear to be caring parents but why the exaggeration ? I mean there isn't a parenting scale or Olympics. FYI good parenting doesn't appear now , the pedigree of their parenting will show when the kids are past their 20s and how they turned out. Pre puberty almost any child is manageable, almost .

HM did not use the front entrance as it was too far for her to walk. Since it wouldn't have been prudent for Andrew to use the front entrance to attend his father's memorial service, it makes sense he accompanied his mother thru another entrance. And what exactly did Andrew do? Do you have any evidence of any wrongdoing on his part? I'm not a fan of his but "trial by media" needs to end.

I imagine Prince Andrew went in the side entrance so as not to make a public entrance. His mother went in the side entrance because she is frail and it saved her the long walk done the aisle. It make sense that he would accompany his mother
