What is this inspection for? I'm a nascar fan from Brazil and I've never heard of it.

Oseias Alves it’s optical scanning station....it’s to make sure all the cars are within certain specs to maintain a standard so it a level playing field

.This laser scan only monitors body measurements. No Traction Control System's for example.
