This is a vote on cloture, not confirmation. The thumbnail is misleading. The Republicans called for cloture to end the Democrats filibuster. They won 51-49. It now goes to the final vote. The 2 Republicans, Colllins and Murkowski, who voted “No” on cloture will vote yes for confirmation. Hegseth will be confirmed 53-47.
