It is so 90s that it feels like MC Conrad is dropping in on the track any second.

Dude, awesome!!! Great video editing, great tune, really solid first track on the s2400. Jealous of that JD-990. Looks like you're using mutes in song mute opposed to a bunch of patterns? I'll have to give that flow a shot. Awesome stuff
@project-953 жыл бұрын
Thanks for listening! Yes mate the whole track is 1 pattern with mutes except the 4 bar breakdown, I love the simplicity and speed of that workflow! The 990 is an airy pad monster if you're into that 90's Good Looking Records sound 😎

Nice.I was gonna buy a s2400 but had to buy a laptop for school instead unfortunately. I use my barely working akai s900 for that 12bit sound but honestly.... it would be nice to have that extra sample time. Hope to get my hands on one or a mpc3000/60 in the future. Sounding good dude.

Thank you! The 2400 sequencing the 900 would be a nice combo! Sold my S950 & mpc3000 many years ago this definitely scratches that itch

Amazing music, thanks. I use a JV1080 and a JD990, and I love them. I'm now looking at the XV5080, do you think it'll be redundant or will it contribute with something new/interesting? Thanks!
@project-952 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Short answer is no definitely not redundant! It has the highest quality sound, most advanced FX, deepest synth engine & polyphony, most expansion slots & patch memory, plus sample playback. There's stock patches on there I couldn't live without, especially pads! You already have most bases covered with the other two, and may find yourself using it (or one of the others) less. I'd say get one while they're still overlooked and cheap. It's such a powerful synth for the money, £300-500 these days. There's also the Integra 7 which has all these sounds+expansion cards and more built in, but reliable sources say it just doesn't sound the same. I prefer the 5080
