I haven't streamed in a couple years but I've been wanting to try again, it's just difficult with my current schedule. And yeah I usually try to keep the game audio quieter than mic audio so it doesn't drown me out but it's hard to find a balance without it peaking, it also sounded fine in Premiere but KZbin makes it quieter I think.
