@@mikesearle4728 With maxed speed EV's, Delibird just barely outspeeds a 0 speed EV Rapidash at equal levels. Based on my calcs its 148 vs 147 speed in this scenario. (Assuming 31 IVs on both sides. I have no idea what IV's that Rapidash has, but it must have equal or lower than the Delibird at any rate)

Tinted lense is definitely my favorite ability in the game, and Yanmega is its flagship pokemon in my book. (I believe venomoth gets it and a forget which others have it) Definitely feels good seeing Yanmega do so well, especially with the lucky omniboost to save it from getting saced in the red fight. I also recently played crystal for the first time and used only johto mons (not a nuzlock) and was surprised how often Jumpluff was my best mon, even being my default Alakazam counter with sleep powder + leach seed + megadrain

If you move the time around a bit while waiting on Route 30, so that Youngster Joey can't call you, he sometimes calls and could give you oran or sitrus berries

SUCKS. yes, it makes a good first challenge against trainers because most early game moves are physical, EXEPT THE ONES YOU WANT TO USE ON AN ONIX, every Water or Grass type that has their typing's strength can play around the ONIX and defeat it. i mean, IT HAS 2 QUAD WEAKNESS TO WATER AND GRASS. and a friendly reminder that both of those types are primarily special attack types.

While only getting one attempt in the Safari Zone is definitely more in line with the Nuzlocke rules, i think you should be allowed to reattempt the Safari Zone encounter as many times as needed to catch it, since catching in the Safari Zone is stupidly difficult for these kinds of playthroughs. Plus, they tend to have Pokémon you can't get anywhere else, so missing out on the encounter basically guarantees you won't get to use what would have been a potentially interesting encounter. These runs are already linited enough as it is.

Once you get to the League and cannot beat it with just Bidoofs, House Doof calls on House Gar to fulfill their oath to House Doof a la Aragorn summoning the ghost army. Then you add one Garchomp to the team and challenge the League.
