Live Shiny Hoothoot After 9602 REs + Evolution - Pokemon Gold VC

My first random encounter shiny in generation 2, shiny Hoothoot! Such a great shiny, especially when it evolves into Noctowl which I do show off in this video. My next hunt for my Dream Team Quest will be Bellsprout.

I ran into a shiny hoot hoot like 5 years ago when i broke out my old gameboy color and started a new game on silver version, first pokemon i ran in to on my new game and no pokeballs LOL. Anyways least i can say ive done it once.

I rememeber seeing this as a shiny while playing pokemon silver as a kid. Exept at the time I saw it I didn't know what shinies were so I killed the weird hoothoot. I do remember the sprite having the shine effect when it appears, but I don't remember if the color of it was different than the normal hoothoot..... But since it had the shine, I'm guessing it had to be a shiny. Pkm silver

The funny thing is, Jason, is that the shiny HootHoot I bred in Crystal was also female and I was surprised.
